What to Expect from Your Equisound Retreat
Rest with the Horses
Come as you are to Orr Farm Rescue & Sanctuary in Waverly, AL, where our gentle horses are waiting to help you recharge. Just bring your pillow, find a comfortable spot on a blanket, and let the peaceful pasture setting soak into your bones. It is a safe place to finally let go of the day's heavy lifting.
Rest Your Tired Bones
Once the session ends, grab a slice of homemade cake from Waverly's own Wildflour Cafe and a good drink. Sit a spell and chat with folks to come back to life a little bit before heading back home.
Voices from the Sanctuary
"My body is usually plumb worn out by Friday from a hard week of physical labor. Coming here, I could just sit still and let the calm horses and quiet sounds wash the exhaustion right out of my bones. It’s the best reset a working gal could ask for."
